I have always been a fan of journaling and I have journals as far back as seven years old. My journaling practice progressed from a "Dear Diary..." into a negative spiral feeding my then insecurities, scarcity mindset and victim mentality as life seemed to have gotten harder and harder each year. From loss in my family, dysfunctional family relationships, self-hatred and experiences with bullying- I look back on my journals and see not only the hard things I was going through but how little I believed in myself. How I never used my journal to help myself through the hardship, I just kept reliving it.
It wasn't until just three years ago that I shifted my entire journaling practice to be one that served me, what you will soon know to be Alignment Journaling. As a mother this is hands down my most powerful form of self-care that I implement daily. This method changed everything for me because I finally saw myself as who I desperately want to be and this version of me could handle anything that comes her way. Which blew me away with how quickly my mind started to see solutions.
This journaling method got me out of my problems and into the land of possibility, creativity and solutions! You can imagine why I've stuck with it for so long and now it is my only form of journaling I do.
